The Ithaca Lefever Nitro Special in 12 gauge is a classic American side-by-side (SxS) shotgun produced by the Ithaca Gun Company from approximately 1921 through the early 1940s. Often described as a “working man’s shotgun,” it was designed for reliability and was the first Lefever model specifically engineered to handle modern “nitro” (smokeless powder) shells.
