Norma NXD 40 S&W 93gr IMCP Handgun Ammo – 20 Rounds – Introducing the 10mm Auto NXD 93 gr The NXD – Non-eXpanding Defensive round Engineered from the ground up for defensive use, the NXD solves two persistent problems with traditional hollow-point ammunition: clogging and uncontrolled over-penetration. Its precision-machined, fluted projectile channels soft-tissue fluid at impact, accelerating that material to roughly 1.5-2x the initial impact velocity and redirecting it into surrounding tissue. The result is faster, more efficient energy transfer and a larger permanent wound cavity than conventional hollow points – while maintaining reliable feeding, low recoil, and consistent terminal performance. Features Made in the USA ; Resists clogging – fluted geometry prevents fouling from blocking the cavity so the round performs on messy, real-world targets; Reduced over-penetration – energy is intentionally dispersed into surrounding tissue rather than carried through, improving stopping effectiveness while lowering risk to bystanders; Devastating energy transfer – design accelerates and redirects tissue/fluid to maximize permanent cavity size versus equivalent hollow-point projectiles; Reliable function – machined form factor and strict QC deliver consistent feeding and cycling in common defensive platforms; Shooter-friendly – engineered for controllable recoil and repeatable shot placement; Precision fluted projectile for fluid dispersion and energy redirection; Engineered to maintain terminal effectiveness when the cavity risks being fouled; Consistent dimensions for dependable magazine and chamber compatibility; Optimized for lower felt recoil and follow-up shot control;
