The Sandman X incorporates decades of research to give users the most pleasurable shooting experience possible by optimizing sound, balancing backpressure, and eliminating flash to increase performance for semi-automatic and bolt action rifles alike. Xeno Adapter Combine a Xeno muzzle device with this Xeno Adapter for a lightweight suppressor mounting option with non-negotiable repeatability and solid return to zero – ideal for precision-minded shooters. The Xeno Mounting System still provides you hardcore users the durability you’ve come to expect from Dead Air. The shorter length and lock-up positioning of the Xeno Mounting System makes it shine. How exactly? The Xeno muzzle devices don’t sit deep into the blast chamber. This minimizes focused erosion on your baffles, prolonging suppressor life while maximizing sound performance. The shortened length also supports a more future-proof design with a heavy consideration for suppressors with smaller blast chambers across the industry. Plus, the Adapter uses the industry standard 1-3/8-24 (HUB) threads, making it compatible many silencers on the market. The Xeno muzzle devices and Xeno Adapter attach together with left-handed threads, eliminating your worries of the adapter unthreading from your silencer when removed. This also lets you verify your mount is still tight when installing on your firearm. The Xeno System features ample tooling surfaces throughout, giving you plenty of room and options. These tool features are accessible even when your suppressor is completely installed. This is for you folks that don’t remove your silencer for hundreds or thousands of rounds fired and may need that extra “torque.” Our material of choice is nitrided 4140 steel for hardness and corrosion resistance. The bonus is that it won’t gall your threads as is common with the uncoated 17-4 products out there. It’s no fun having your mount drilled from the back of your suppressor while you’re biting your nails hoping it can be salvaged. Nitrided 4140 is just tough. Scouring off carbon and copper deposits is not only easier, but you’re also less likely to damage your threads. For those desiring a mounting system that offers insane repeatability and durability, with very little length and weight added to your firearm, the Xeno is what you’re after. Xeno muzzle devices are sold separately. Xeno 3-Prong Flash Hider The Xeno 3-Prong Micro Flash Hider works superbly as a stand alone muzzle device on 5.56 NATO/.223 REM caliber platforms, but really shines when paired with a Xeno Adapter equipped suppressor. The Xeno 3-Prong Micro Flash Hider gives you a short, lightweight suppressor mounting option with non-negotiable repeatability and a solid return to zero – ideal for precision-minded shooters. Even on short barrels with flashy ammo, the Xeno 3-Prong Micro Flash Hider is tuned specifically to .223 sized bullets and easily tames muzzle flash prevalent in this caliber. Despite its diminutive size, the Xeno 3-prong Micro Flash Hider, paired with a Xeno Adapter, still provides you, hard core users, the durability and repeatability you’ve come to expect from Dead Air. The prongs of the Xeno 3-Prong Micro Flash Hider are detuned, just like on the full-size 3-prong series so they won’t resonate when fired or banged around. Like the rest of the Xeno series, the forward elements of the flash hiders are designed so that even with carbon buildup on them, the silencer and adapter will still slide off after long shooting sessions. The Xeno Mounting System gives you more time on the firing line and less time cleaning up. The shortened length also supports a more future-proof design with a heavy consideration for suppressors with smaller blast chambers across the industry. The Xeno Flash Hider and Adapter mate together with left-handed threads, eliminating your worries of the adapter unthreading from your silencer when removed. This also lets you verify your mount is still tight when installing on your firearm. Both the Flash Hider and Adapter feature ample tooling surfaces, giving you plenty of room and options. These tool features are accessible even when your suppressor is completely installed.
