CHAMBER: 2 3/4″. LOP: 14″. DAC: 1 3/8″. DAH: 1 3/4″. Remington Model 1100 Standard Trap is a factory-original, gas-operated 12-gauge target autoloader manufactured between 1968 and 1970, a highly regarded pinnacle era for premium Remington production. Built on a standard-weight steel frame chambered for 2-3/4″ target shells, its receiver carries a “V” serial suffix and features fine-line decorative scrollwork alongside a distinct “TRAP” rollmark and the early-style Remington Arms company patent numbers on the right side. The shotgun completely retains its period-correct walnut furniture, featuring the iconic machine-heated pressed checkering in a fleur-de-lis pattern on the sides of the stock and forend, which serves as a crucial hallmark of an unmodified late-1960s specimen. This wood setup includes a straight-comb “Standard Trap” stock that finishes at a pistol grip decorated with a white line spacer and a black cap with a white diamond inlay plate, capped at the rear by a factory-original, branded Remington buttplate. The firearm is paired with a period-correct, fixed “FULL” choke 28-inch barrel. Topped with a target-style ventilated rib hosting a dual-bead alignment system. CONDITION: Good-Very Good. The bore is smooth and shiny. There is a frosted area at the muzzle. Light handling marks can be seen on stocks and receiver. The metal arguably retains much of the original finish. Operates normally.
