Unusual piece as most of the SAAs had a case colored frame, This one is all-blue. It has all the new enclosures with the box, including hang tags, manual, etc. This one was manufactured in 1983 and is chambered in .357 Magnum. One could presume it was intended for Cowboy Action Shooting where firearms were often required to be .357/.38 in order to use the competition ammunition. It will make a collector piece, or a everyday trail and light hunting pistol.
